A graduate of Pratt Institute, Roger served as Art Department chair at Salisbury School for 19 years, during which time he developed the woodworking and boatbuilding programs. He continues to teach drawing, printmaking, woodworking and boat building at Salisbury. His own background is that of a Painting/Drawing major with a minor in printmaking. Roger’s work ranges from intaglio printmaking and monotypes to artist’s books and assemblage pieces. He spends a great deal of time out-of-doors and his work is often drawn from and reflects that connection to the natural world.
